About The Show

We at The Homebrew Network are proud to announce the addition of a new show: The World Weavers - D&D Actual Play!

World Weavers is an actual play focusing on collaborative world-building and intricate storytelling. Every aspect of the world is crafted by the players together, and the world springs to life around them while they explore. This show will feature several tiers of play:

World Weaving: where we’ll collaboratively shape the world and create maps, landscapes, cities, and craft the world from the god’s view
Faction Play: where the players will inhabit the major factions of our world and make moves on the macro scale for the countries, guilds, colleges, companies, churches, and more.
Actual Play: The majority of the show will feature D&D 5e actual play inside of the worlds we’re weaving.
Actual Play Weaving: The players will craft portions of the world as they experience it, bringing life to their surroundings and collaborating on encounters, NPCs, and more!

This show will be live on YouTube MONDAYS at 4 PM PST // 7 PM EST.
Make sure you subscribe and ring the bell at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeXTLF2KijBHtg9u4ZT6j1A
Vods will be made available and episodes will be published on the major podcasting platforms as well

Meet The Cast

Renee Hill

Pastry chef, dog mom, and three-time award-winning "Crying-to-Musical-Soundtracks-in-a-Socially-Unacceptable-Place" champion. Renee has been playing games as long as she can remember and has been obsessed with DND (instead of solving actual problems) for 8 years. You can find her playing silly games, drinking tea, and making puns on Twitch when she's not in the kitchen or rolling dice.

Maxton Smith

Maxton Smith is a Los Angeles-based actor, singer, and goofball. A well-rounded nerd, he enjoys anime, Warhammer, board games, video games, obscure musicals, horror movies, reading and writing, and, yes, Live Action Role Playing. He has loved DnD since his first DM (his dad) tormented him and his friends throughout a 17-year-long campaign. While Maxton is always happy to DM, his devious imagination, quick wit, and arsenal of dialects make him an eccentric and enthusiastic player. He and his wife Dani are the proud parents of three perfect cat sons.

EMILY FOULGER

Voice Actor, wife, and fantasy enthusiast by day, broadway belter, and proud redhead also by day (Nighttime is saved for sleep and the watching of many shows). Emily was introduced into the nerd world in high school but didn't start playing D&D until 2019. Since then, it has been an all-consuming deep dive of characters and dice (her horde is over 200 strong). Outside of playing pretend in its many facets, she proudly displays her degree in Exercise Science (which will probably never be used again) and works hard to build a good life for her future dogs.

ANDI CASURAS

Educator. Gamer. Proud member of the #Audhd and LGBTQIA+ Communities. Dog Mom. Ask for pictures of my lovely puppers; they are named Goober and Noodle. Why wouldn't you want to see pictures of them?! I have been playing video games my entire life. My mother had a PC built for me when I was 5 y/o, and I have been playing games ever since. I started in the MMORPG space but now primarily focus on LoL, TfT, Destiny 2, and Apex. I have been in the DnD world for just over a year now. Starting during the pandemic was a new way to keep up with friends and be social. I am currently part of 4 campaigns, so if I am not working, I am probably working on something DnD-related.

MAGGIE BORDEN

Maggie is an actor, writer, singer, and comedian from Charleston, SC. A theatre kid through and through, her background is in classical theatre training, including Shakespeare, and Grecian theatre, with a heavy dose of musical theatre sprinkled in the mix. Maggie and her husband have two precious baby-angel feline children named Wednesday and Bobbi, and, like any good Gen Alpha kids, they, of course, have their own social media account. I'm a bit new to D&D compared to most of my fellow players, but She loves creating worlds and characters with other creatives; plus, dice are shiny and pretty and hit all the endorphin markers that Polly Pocket hit for her as a kid.

CARLOS TORRES

Carlos is a family man, a lover of all things New England, and probably way too addicted to Coke Zero. Carlos is a Risk Advisor by day and a dungeon master by night, with experience in theater and a love of spoken-word poetry. After four years in the D&D space, he now DMs for the Power Word Fail Podcast. Away from the game table, he can be found reading, playing basketball or football, or cooking something delicious.

GRANT MIELKE

Grant is a husband, dad, gamer, writer, aspiring salumist, and owner/founder of an award-winning marketing agency in the midwest. He is a lifelong gamer and moved from screens to include tabletops about 7 years ago with Pathfinder and a super edgy rogue named Carcer.
